Aisling Bea

Aisling is a popular Irish comedian that has been in the business for a long time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on 16th March 1984. She was on QI together alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also than the stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish writer, actress and comedian. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea started her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012, she began being featured in sketch comedy programs or sitcoms as well as other similar programs. In 2012, she began appearing in panel shows following the win of an award from in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats Team, and also a part-time participant in the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her sister-in-law. The only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea is her surname in honor of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who committed suicide after Bea turned three was an victim of self-harm. The news of his passing at the age of thirteen. Bea was her stage name. Bea was a tribute for her father. Bea was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017 on her journey of suicide. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a professional jockey for a time. Her parents were obsessed by racing and horses. Bea began her career as an official guide for tourists at the Irish National Stud. But she realized her love was acting, not racing.
